Cornell Impact Investment (CII) is the first undergraduate private equity club at Cornell University Environmental Finance and Impact Investing (EFII) Fellows Program. Through a series of courses, coupled with applied projects, EFII Program Fellows will be trained to invest in, manage, or regulate businesses or projects seeking financial, environmental, and/or social goals. It is designed to provide experience in impact investing by sourcing, conducting due diligence, and presenting a seed-stage startup to an investment committee for the chance to win a $50,000 investment in that company. International business as well as experiences in debt finance and investment firms will inadvertently foster a background to aid in global development. We provide educational resources so that students across a variety of professional pursuits can learn about impact investing, social consulting, social design, and social entrepreneurship.
